# mmddyy > mmddyy is a calendar app for personal accounts and team workspaces. Users create calendars and events, then share individual calendars through viewer or editor invite links. The documentation describes the implemented v1 behavior and is the reference for current capabilities. The product roadmap and clearly labeled blog essays discuss future ideas, not current functionality. Provider sync, reminders, RSVP, appointment-booking links, free/busy-only sharing, working-hour rules, automatic buffers or meeting limits, AI scheduling, automatic focus protection, room/resource booking, and offline access are not available in v1. Invite links grant calendar access after sign-in, not appointment bookings. Calendar access is per calendar. Sharing a personal calendar does not expose the owner's other personal calendars. Team workspace owners can manage all calendars in their workspace. Repeating events support daily and weekly schedules; changes affect the entire series. Users and organizations have globally unique handles. Profiles are private by default. Owners can publish explicitly selected calendars at `/@handle`; `/@handle.md` returns plain Markdown without authentication. Public output includes only ongoing/upcoming titles and times, never notes, locations, email or memberships. Requests accept paired ISO-instant `from`/`to` parameters (maximum 93 days) and optional `zone`; defaults cover 30 days. Public routes return 404 for private/unknown handles and request no indexing. New calendars remain private. Renaming releases the old handle immediately. ## Documentation - [User guide — Markdown](https://mmddyy.app/docs/index.md): Getting started, personal and team calendars, views, events, timezones, recurrence, sharing permissions, invitations, account help, and current limits. - [User guide — HTML](https://mmddyy.app/docs): The same guide with navigation and a permissions table. ## Blog Practical guidance and product-direction essays.
